Tyler is a lifelong student of the game and prides himself on the attention to detail. Tyler was raised in St. Louis Mo, where he attended Oakville high school. While at Oakville Tyler was a two year starter earning all-conference and all-metro honors. He earned a scholarship to continue his playing career at Jefferson Community College. He then transferred to St. Catharine College where he was a 4 year starter. He is in the top ten in multiple categories including games played, homeruns and walks, as well as being the all-time hit by pitch leader.
After college, Tyler took an assistant coaching job at Thomas Nelson High School in Bardstown, KY where he played a part in turning a 1-31 season into a 15-19 record at the varsity level in the following year. Tyler has also coached summer ball in St. Louis area as well as working as an instructor and has had multiple players go on to continue their career at the collegiate level. Tyler specializes in hitting and prides himself not only on the physical parts of hitting, but also the mental aspect as well. Coaching young men is what Tyler is truly passionate about, and is confident that he can help any hitter take their game to the next level.
