Tyler recently moved to St. Louis from Central Illinois, where he was a 3-sport athlete at Metamora Township High School. Tyler accepted a baseball scholarship from Culver-Stockton College as a RHP, following high school graduation.

After a one year stint at Culver-Stockton, Tyler transferred to Eureka College, where he made the transition from pitcher to middle infielder for the rest of his collegiate career. Tyler was a 4 year starter for the Red Devils and was presented with Team MVP and Batting Champion as a 2nd baseman in 2008, the same year he was amongst the leaders in the SLIAC in Batting Average, Slugging Percentage and On-Base Percentage. Tyler’s senior year, as a shortstop, he led the SLIAC defensively in Assists (109). Along with being an instructor at the Practice Factory, Tyler joins the Recruits Baseball program in the Fall of 2012, as the 15u Head Coach.
