In 2006, Dave transferred to Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, and continued his playing career until 2008, when he began coaching high school baseball in the spring at Webster Groves High School, as the Freshman baseball coach.
In the summer, Dave coached Legion Baseball, assisting the Oakville Junior Varsity Program his first year, heading up the Creve Coeur Junior Varsity Program his second year; leading them to the District 10 Championship, and assisting the Kirkwood Varsity Program his third year. Along with coaching baseball, Dave also coached the Webster Groves Stateswomen Varsity softball team for two years, broadening his knowledge of the game beyond just baseball. In the fall of 2010, Dave accepted a coaching position in the Recruits Baseball Club, under Todd Stein, as the head 18u coach. While coaching in the Recruits program since that time, Dave has worked with, helped, and coached 30+ athletes on to the collegiate level. Currently Dave is a full time instructor at Practice Factory, teaching all facets of the game to young baseball and softball enthusiasts. No matter age or skill level, Dave is confident he can help your child raise his/her skills to the next level!
