Todd is the lead instructor at Practice Factory, and has been around the game his entire life. Todd grew up in St. Louis Missouri, where he attended Ladue High School. While at Ladue, he played varsity baseball for his four years there. He broke and still holds records for most strike outs in a season, as well as most strike outs in a career.

He earned a scholarship to pitch for Illinois State University, where he was a three year Friday night starting pitcher. Todd was drafted in 2004 in the 25th round of the amateur draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2005 he pitched for the minor league affiliate Southbend Silver Hawks, who went on to win the Mid-West League championship series. Todd then played for the Gateway Grizzlies in 2006 before he decided to retire from baseball and devote his time to coaching and teaching the game of baseball. He has been doing lessons for fourteen plus years, and specializes in pitching. He has coached many players that have gone on to the college and professional ranks. Todd also is the senior director of the Recruits Baseball Club which has competitive summer teams from ages 12 through 18. The Recruits 2013 graduating class currently has 14 college commits and counting. Todd was also a professional scout for seven season with the Diamondbacks and Cardinals.
